Fundraising
Pack 4071 runs on more than dues. Popcorn sales, restaurant nights, and direct gifts cover the gear, awards, and activities that make Scouting possible for every family — regardless of what they can pay. Here's how to help, and exactly where it goes.
Three Ways to Help
Our biggest fundraiser of the year. Scouts sell online (ships direct to buyers, including out-of-town family) and door-to-door around Albertville. A portion of every sale goes straight back to Pack 4071 and to the individual Scout's own account for camp and gear.
Eat where you were already going to eat. We partner with local restaurants like Longhorn Steakhouse for designated "Scout Night" evenings — show a flyer or mention the pack, and a percentage of the bill comes back to us. No selling required.
One-time or recurring gifts from families, grandparents, and local businesses. Every dollar goes directly to pack programming — no overhead, no middleman. Checks and online gifts both welcome.
Longhorn Steakhouse in Albertville hosts a Scout Night for Pack 4071 several times a year — a share of every meal ordered that evening comes straight back to the pack. We rotate a few other local restaurants in throughout the year too, announced on our events calendar and in den emails.
No sign-up needed — just show up and eat
Full Transparency
Pack 4071 is entirely volunteer-run and funded by families and the community — dues alone don't cover a full year of Scouting. Every fundraising dollar is spent on the program itself.
We publish a simple year-end summary for pack families showing income and spending from popcorn, restaurant nights, and direct gifts.
Tax-Deductible Giving
Pack 4071 is chartered by Sand Mountain Community Church. Donations may be tax-deductible through our charter organization — ask us for documentation for your records.
